This is the really first post on this blog, exciting but strange feeling to publish a first post with no readers at all… yet…
In order to start sharing my experience as an amateur dressmaker, I decided to publish some pictures of my workshop, the french GardeRobe atelier

Awesome I cant wait to see more posts to come. such a cute workshop it makes me feel like getting out there and cleaning my workshop and posting some photos.

I love your workspace! So open and fresh, and ORGANIZED. I have one of those Ikea organizers that you use…love how you’ve used multiples for your buttons.
But where, oh WHERE is your fabric? My sewing space can’t be seen for the fabric, oh my.

Well I sort my fabrics on the side shelves of my cutting table. The rest of it is in the closet. I hang them with trousers hangers, it’s much more fonctional than the old piles. Everytime I took a piece of fabric the whole pile would collapse !!!!So I’ve just decided to hang them.
